Aside from writing, I am also a Primary School teacher specialising in music teaching. I play the flute and can play several other wind instruments, and I also sing. I have conducted school bands and choirs and facilitated music retreat sessions for families with special needs children. I have 3 children of my own and a fur baby who thinks she's child number 4! I have a super star patient husband who cheers me on and lives with my wild ideas.  I grew up in the leafy suburbs of Sydney and now enjoy the gorgeous wetland areas of Newcastle and the Hunter where nature and coastal life provide endless inspiration for many of my manuscripts.

When did I start writing for children?
I've always loved writing stories, essays and poetry, but officially, in 2022, I started work on my first manuscript drafts.
What is my favourite Picture Book?
There are so many but Pig the Pug and Magic Beach would be up the top.
What is the best book I've ever read?
Probably, The Power of One. But I'm also a fan of the Outlander series and all the Jane Austin Classics
What is my favourite word?
Hmmm, caterwauling! How good does that sound? or Pandamonium!
What is my favourite food?
Anything salted caramel!
What have I written?
I have a delightful picture book My Pet Archie (2025), with Riveted Press and several poems published in The School Magazine,
